A small place called Nelson in New Zealand in reality though I spent about 3 months there, and moved around New Zealand quite a bit with work. Where do I call home there – Dunedin in the South Island.
For the last 9 years my family and I lived in London United Kingdom in a great city – St Albans.
We now live in Redwood Shores, and love it.
2.Guilty Pleasure
Any forms of motorsport. I watch anything from Formula 1, Indycar, offshore powerboating… if it moves fast I love it. My family and I Jetski often – can’t swim, but somehow I seem to float OK when wiping out. I’ve been round the Isle of Wight twice on my Jet Ski. Also like Rugby (go the All Blacks – our national team www.allblacks.com)
2.My First Concert
A long lost New Zealand band “Split Enz” they kind of went on to become Crowded House and made much more impact around the world. The most memorable concerts I’ve recently seen were Roger Waters performing “Dark Side of the Moon” in Hyde Park, London England, next day I saw The Who in exactly the same place. Overdose on classic rock that weekend!
Alicia Keys was great, 3 Doors Down at the Fillmore, Van Halen in San Jose last December. I just missed the B52’s – they would have been fun.
4.My Hero
My grandfather. He was an astounding guy, so placid and chilled but great with his hands at fixing pretty much anything. My new heroes are my two boys. Spending time with them is great, sometimes challenging, but always rewarding. Hope I can be their hero for life, but suspect The Fantastic 4 crew has already overtaken me.
5.Favorite TV show & Movie
TV show… hummm… I really should not admit this, but I watch Greys Anatomy religiously, oh and ER. Last comic standing and remember the show a while back The Great Race? I love travel so that had me hooked too.
Movie – I think Shawshank Redemption is it by quite some way. I can watch it monthy and still get more from it each time.
6.Don't Tell anyone Else But...
I actually get paid to do this? It’s fun, but have never really worked out what I contribute. I can’t sing or play any instruments…. I feel a bit like a freeloader – but thank the writers and artists daily for making great songs that I can play for you!
7.Same Sex Crush
Don Bleu, but he’s not interested. I’ll try again tomorrow though.
8.My idea of a perfect Date
Bottle of wine, nice dinner somewhere…. lingerie is good too!
9.My Last Meal on Earth would be...
Fish & Chips, a great burger and Chinese takeaways (that’s 3 meals right?)
10.Favorite Bay Area Hang out
Currently it’s home! My 2 boys Blair & Ryan and my wife Vicky are just getting settled in the area after moving from the United Kingdom, spending time with them at the moment when not working is really rewarding. We’re nearly settled in, so soon we can switch to looking around the area instead of unpacking boxes. In previous tourist visits to the San Francisco area I fell in love with the scenery around here – next time you drive across the Bay or Oakland Bridge, just take a second to look at the cities. Never underestimate how picturesque, diverse, yet within reach everything in the bay area is. I’m looking forward to discovering the Delta and Lake Tahoe this summer!
The show was reportedly rejected by the Malaysian government, but was later approved after officials deemed Lavigne was "not a bad influence, especially on the young."
