HALF MOON BAY’S COASTAL REP PRESENTS: CARNIVAL OF WONDERS!!!
‘Carnival of Wonders’ is a one-of-a-kind live show experience that can simply be described as a piece of living art! “Art reflects life” as you will witness an amazing group of performers from our very own coast-side and beyond, presented in a larger than life experience, unlike anything ever seen in Half Moon Bay! Dance, song, tribal beats, poetry, spoken word, projection and acrobatic artistry extraordinaire will blow the roof off of the Coastal Rep theater and will exceed all your expectations!
Dance productions and still life, heartfelt singing, poetry and stunning tableau’s will be told in an incredible array of different and artistic mediums! And, the entire evening will be set to fantastic music and mind boggling costumes, which are being designed and built by Soozi @ ChoozibyDesign, well know for her work on Broadway, Las Vegas and at the world famous ‘Burning Man’ annual festival in Black Rock City, Nevada! The show also features the amazing Shely Pack dancers, also a local favorite!
Before the show, a silent auction, featuring female artists from Half Moon Bay will also be a part of the evening. Pottery, photography, jewelry and beyond will be featured. Highlights of the auction will also include VIP ticket packages to Las Vegas’ Cirque shows: “0” Le Reve, Mystere and Love, which features the music of The Beatles!
Special guest performances from Cirque du Soleil Stars will be surprise guest additions to the show, and will allow audiences to experience these amazing artists up close and personal in the intimate theater! Each show evening will feature a different Cirque act and performance! In addition to all of that, a very special opportunity for a VIP ticket package will be offered, where guests will get to meet the artists, enjoy light bites and be photographed with them backstage! “Carnival of Wonders” is being Created, Directed and Choreographed by local Montaran, Christopher Childers. Madonna, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Prince, Cirque du Soleil and The Super Bowl are some of the highlights of his career, but that only taps the surface of his talents and career.
